— Today, quite a few boys from U-19 trained with the main team of Dynamo, how are they showing themselves?
— These are new boys, they still do not understand everything, but they are gradually being pulled up to the first team. If they are engaged in the main lineup, we will cooperate with them.
— What is the hardest part when transitioning from youth to the main team? Which position is the most challenging in this regard?
— Honestly, I can’t say. It seems to me that no matter what position you play, transitioning from youth to adult football is always a bit difficult. But there are experienced teammates in the team who help and make this process a little easier.
— The team returned to work after the match against RFSh and a few days off. What do you expect from the second part of the training camp?
— We will prepare for the championship matches. Specifically, through the training process and training games, we will purposefully prepare for the game against Karpaty. I think we can get well prepared for the Ukrainian championship.
— What is the microclimate in the team like? What did you focus on during the training process?
— The microclimate is very good. Everyone encourages each other, communicates. As for what exactly we worked on during the training process, I can’t say — it’s a secret (smiling).
— What do you advise the boys from the youth team? Do they come to you for advice?
— They don’t come for advice specifically, but if there are some moments in the training process, I try to suggest what I can.
— You are already 24 years old. Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo were also born on February 5, did you know about this?
— Yes, I found out about this coincidence when I was about 11-12 years old. I’ll immediately note that my parents didn’t name me after Ronaldo (smiling). They didn’t even know what football was until I went to a training section myself. Of course, it’s nice to be born on the same day as such outstanding players, a good company, there is something to strive for.
— How do you analyze these 23 years that have passed? How satisfied are you with yourself in Dynamo?
— I’ve been with Dynamo since I was 13; during this time, I’ve reached the first team — it used to be my dream. To be honest, I didn’t think I would ever achieve it, but I managed to make it to the main lineup. Now my dream is to play as many matches as possible for the first team, to progress, and to win all trophies with Dynamo.
