Ukrainian midfielder Viktor Kovalenko, who left the Italian Atalanta last summer and has been without a club since then, may resume his career.

Another Serie A representative, Empoli, made an official contract offer to the 28-year-old player, journalist Ertan Suzgün reported on his Twitter. It is also reported that Turkish clubs are interested in Kovalenko’s services.

Recall that Empoli was the last team of the Ukrainian: he played for them on loan from Atalanta in the 2023/24 season (17 matches, 1 goal, 1 assist).
