Let us remind you that after 17 rounds, Kyivans are leading the UPL standings alone, ahead of second-placed Alexandria by 5 points. Meanwhile, Donetsk Shakhtar, currently in third place, trails Dynamo by 10 points, but has one match in hand.
Leaders' standings after 17 rounds:
1. Dynamo — 43 points (17 matches)
2. Alexandria — 38 (17)
3. Shakhtar — 33 (16)
4. Kryvbas — 31 (16)
5. Polesie — 27 (17).
With Alexandria, Dynamo has already played both matches, but they still have one match against Shakhtar ahead (it will take place at the end of April as part of the 26th round of the championship). In addition, Dynamo faces challenging away matches against Kryvbas and Polesie. Shakhtar, in turn, will play Kryvbas twice, and they also have matches against Alexandria and the stubborn Kolos ahead.
