«Inhulets» will open a new stadium in the summer, reports the Telegram channel «TaToTake».
According to the source, this month «Inhulets» is expected to receive permission for the arena's design, and then submit the project for examination in order to ultimately obtain permission for official construction.
Thus, theoretically, the commissioning of the first phase of the facility — that is, the field and the stand where the changing rooms are located — could take place only in May.
In conclusion: it is almost certain that this season Oleksandr Povorozniuk's team will play at a reserve stadium. And this — according to «Inhulets»'s application — is the «Hirnyk» arena in Kryvyi Rih. If this stadium is occupied by «Kryvbas» on game day, the Petrovians will need to negotiate with their opponent or find another location.
Therefore, the nominal home match of the 18th round of the Ukrainian championship against «Polissya» on February 22 will be held by «Inhulets» in Zhytomyr.
