In January 2025, the UAF Dispute Resolution Chamber received official recognition from FIFA for full compliance with the updated standards for national dispute resolution bodies.

This event was historic for UAF, as only representatives of eight national dispute resolution bodies in the world have undergone such recognition procedures to date.
This recognition was the result of the implementation of an updated set of FIFA requirements aimed at ensuring fairness, transparency, and consistency in resolving disputes arising in football at the national level, which came into effect in January 2024.
This system guarantees that disputes in football — from player transfers to contract violations — will be considered by bodies that have the necessary qualifications and independence.
FIFA's decision was evidence of UAF's commitment to fair and effective dispute resolution in Ukrainian football and a positive assessment in the context of ongoing efforts to improve the legal and regulatory framework for the development of football in Ukraine. It ensures that Ukrainian football meets the best international practices and standards.
It is worth emphasizing that this step will contribute to strengthening confidence in Ukrainian football at both national and international levels, providing greater assurance among players, clubs, and other stakeholders.
