The agent of Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali, Beppe Rizzi, dismissed the possibility of his client returning to the Italian league this summer.
«He is one of the best midfielders in the world. His transfer value is such that it is unlikely Italian clubs will be able to pay that much. I envision his career far from Serie A,» — Rizzi’s words are quoted by Fabrizio Romano on Twitter.
It is worth noting that in the summer of 2023, Newcastle paid around 70 million euros to Milan for the transfer of Tonali. The midfielder’s contract with the Magpies is set to run until the summer of 2028.
