Today the world was gifted several famous people who closely tied their lives to football:

Sergey Tkachenko (1979) — former Ukrainian footballer, midfielder. He ended his professional career in the autumn of 2011, at the age of 32, on the recommendation of doctors due to an old ankle injury. He played 4 matches for the national team of Ukraine, without scoring any goals.
Miroslav Blazevic (1935−2023) — former Croatian footballer and coach. He led many clubs and national teams, including the national team of Croatia, Dinamo (Zagreb), PAOK, and Nantes. He was once close to leading the national team of Ukraine.
Yuri Dmitrulin (1975) — former Ukrainian defender of Dynamo Kyiv and the national team of Ukraine. He also represented the colors of Tavriya Simferopol. Nine-time champion and six-time holder of the Ukrainian Cup. He played 39 matches for the Ukrainian national team. Currently, he works as a coach at the Dynamo Academy.
