Ukrainian referee Mykola Balakin has been appointed as the main referee for the first playoff match between “Celje” and APOEL. This is reported by the official UEFA website.
Mykola Balakin (photo: gettyimages.com)It is reported that in addition to Balakin, five more referees from Ukraine will work at the match: Oleksandr Berkut and Dmytro Zaporozhenko (line assistants). Vitaliy Romanov is the fourth referee.
As usual, there will be a VAR system at the match. The main VAR referee is Viktor Kopiyevskyi, with assistant VAR referee Oleksiy Derevynskyi.
Recall that the match “Celje” — APOEL will take place on Thursday, February 13.
