Manchester City forward Erling Haaland, scoring a brace in yesterday’s match against Real Madrid (2:3) for the right to advance to the 1/8 finals of the Champions League this season, brought his total goals in this tournament to 49.

This allowed the 24-year-old Norwegian to enter the TOP-10 scorers in Champions League history (including the period when it was held as the European Cup). In particular, Haaland surpassed Ukrainian Andriy Shevchenko and Swedish Zlatan Ibrahimovic, both of whom have 48 goals.
