The Champions League final could be held in the United States, as UEFA and the European Clubs Association have entered an exclusive negotiation period with Relevent Sports regarding global commercial rights to European men's club competitions from 2027. This is reported by The Independent.

Moreover, this could threaten up to 170 jobs at the company. It is known that TEAM was in a state of shock, as well as a certain outrage regarding this process.
“The UC3 board, together with UEFA and the European Clubs Association (ECA), has agreed to enter an exclusive negotiation period with Relevent Sports regarding global commercial rights for UEFA men's club competitions for the period 2027−2033. The decision was made after an open tender process initiated last summer, which involved proposals from a number of global and regional agencies,” the statement said.
