In 2025, a friendly tournament with the participation of the national teams of Brazil, Argentina, and Russia may be held in Georgia, former Soviet national team goalkeeper Anzor Kavazashvili reported.
“I have information that a friendly tournament with the participation of the national teams of Russia, Brazil, and Argentina may take place in Georgia. My acquaintances told me that there are wealthy individuals and patrons who want to invite the Brazilian and Argentine national teams to Tbilisi. I don’t know how true this is, but there is such a desire. It would be a grand event,” Kavazashvili is quoted by RB Sport.
Recall that immediately after Russia's attack on Ukraine in 2022, Russian national teams and clubs were expelled from all international competitions.
