— How did your first arrival in “Volyn” happen?
— Alexander Yaroshchuk called me, I was acquainted with him, he had previously worked at “Naftovyk”. Before moving to “Volyn”, I played on loan for “Desna” and performed well in the match against the Lutsk team. I then had two options — “Oleksandriya” and “Volyn”. The financial conditions offered were the same, but Yaroshchuk persuaded me to move to Lutsk, assuring me that the team had a serious task — to reach the UPL. In the end, we accomplished this task.
Vitaliy Kvaratskheliya gathered a good team for the first league at that time — Siminin, Pichkur, Pishchur, Ndoya, Mostovoy, Maikon, Ramon, Herasymyuk, and others.
— Weren’t you afraid to go to Vitaliy Kvaratskheliya then? Everyone knows his training loads, shepherds, bulletproof vests…
— I went through all of this, although I didn’t know that the loads would be like this. I arrived at the training camp in Yalta, and there were three training sessions a day — the first at six in the morning.
— Did you have conflicts with Kvaratskheliya?
— How could you avoid them with Kvaratskheliya? It’s hard to work with him, but he quickly gets over it, everyone knew and knows this.
