On Sunday, February 16, Kyiv “Dynamo” held another friendly match during the off-season training camp in Turkey. This time, the opponent of Alexander Shovkovsky’s team was the Latvian RFSH (Riga Football School).

The first half went under the sign of Dynamo's advantage. However, for quite a long time, RFSH had no dangerous moments. But Dynamo created some shots on target — Pykhalenok, Yarmolenko, Kabaev, Rubchynsky made attempts.
In the second half of the first half, the tension increased near RFSH's goal. In the 37th minute, after a corner kick, Yarmolenko almost scored. The most dangerous moment of this segment was created by Kabaev: after his shot, the RFSH goalkeeper deflected the ball into the post. Nevertheless, the first half of this sparring ended with a score of 0:0.
“Dynamo” maintained an advantage in the second half as well, and in the 75th minute, they finally opened the scoring — Tymchyk managed to cleverly lob the RFSH goalkeeper after a corner — 1:0. However, the Dynamo players could not build on their success.
Additionally, the sparring with RFSH became the penultimate for “Dynamo” during this current off-season preparation. Today, in the afternoon, the “white-blues” will hold a friendly match with Moldovan “Petrokub” (starting at 15:00 Kyiv time), after which they will travel to Kyiv, where they will prepare directly for the match of the 18th round of the Ukrainian championship against Lviv's “Karpaty.” This match, let us remind you, will take place next Sunday, February 23, in Kyiv at the “Dynamo” stadium named after Valeriy Lobanovskyi (starting at 18:00).
