The former coach of Saudi Al-Ittifaq, Steven Gerrard, is still without a job.

According to Football Insider, Blackburn is considering the option of inviting the 44-year-old specialist. The Championship club is preparing for the likely departure of John Eustace from the head coach position. Also among the candidates are former Wolves manager Gary O'Neil and Leyton coach Richie Wellens.
After 33 rounds of the Championship, Blackburn is in 5th place in the standings with 51 points, allowing the team to continue the fight for promotion to the Premier League.
