Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola admitted that he has always dreamed of coaching legendary Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes.

“Of all the players who ever played for Manchester United, I would choose Paul Scholes — he was simply the best midfielder of his generation. I dreamed of coaching him,” Guardiola said in an interview with Rio Ferdinand, published by the channel “My Greatest 11” on social media platform X.
