Central defender Aleksandar Dragovic, who at one time played for Dynamo, received a draft notice and has already joined the Armed Forces of Austria. This was reported by Kleine Zeitung.

According to the source, after the match of the Austrian championship between Austria and Rapid, which took place on February 16, Dragovic received the draft notice.
It is known that the defender decided to continue the service that was interrupted 14 years ago. However, given that Dragovic is a professional footballer, the player will be exempt from regular military service.
Accordingly, for two months Dragovic will serve at a military sports center, which will not prevent him from playing and training with Austria.
It is worth recalling that in the summer of 2013, Kyiv’s Dynamo paid Basel 10 million euros for Dragovic, and three years later sold the center-back to Bayer for 21 million euros.
