Before the start of the second part of the football season 2024/2025, representatives of the Ethics and Fair Play Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association are conducting preventive work in professional leagues to remind participants of the competition about the current requirements for compliance with the Code of Ethics and Fair Play.
Photo: uaf.uaThese measures covered all participants in the process, and clubs were sent a special letter reminding them to comply with the Code of Ethics and Fair Play.
Representatives of the Committee also met with referees and assistant referees who will work in the matches of the second part of the season 2024/2025. The referees received instructions regarding their interaction with the Committee. The main principles of work and algorithms for referees' responses to manifestations of dishonesty by all participants in the competition were also discussed.
At the same time, the Ethics and Fair Play Committee of UAF held individual consultations with representatives of FC Rukh and FC Karpaty regarding their joint statement at the end of last year about uniting the efforts of the clubs starting from the 2025/2026 season. The leaders of both FC clarified their position, and the Committee reminded them of their obligations to comply with the Code and the sporting principle.
