The club Parma has officially announced the appointment of former Romanian footballer of Inter, Cristian Chivu, as the head coach of the team.

The details of his contract are not disclosed. According to journalist Nicolo Schira, Chivu signed an agreement until the end of the season, and it may be extended if Parma retains its place in Serie A of the Italian championship.
