Legends of the football club Dynamo will take part in a unique charity event organized by the rehabilitation system U+ System and the Danish company Levitate.
Photo: Getty ImagesOn February 20, Ukrainian footballers will meet on the field with military personnel who have experienced severe injuries and amputations, as well as with sappers and firefighters-rescuers—unarmed heroes who stand guard over life and safety every day. They will hold a charity match using innovative sports prosthetics, installed just before the game.
This is not just a friendly match. It is a symbolic return of our heroes to an active life. For the first time, military personnel, sappers, and rescuers will test the latest sports prosthetics that allow them to run, jump, and even kick a ball against the football legends.
The adjustment process for each prosthetic will be carried out by a team of experienced specialists. Each participant will receive consultations on proper usage and adaptation to individual needs. Immediately after being fitted with prosthetics, they will take the field with the legends of Dynamo and feel like never before: scoring goals, making precise passes, or even achieving a hat-trick!
“This event is not only about returning to sports, it is about returning to dreams. The innovative sports prosthetics from Levitate give our heroes the opportunity to feel freedom again, team spirit, to live actively, and to engage in what they truly love. This is an important step in their recovery process and an integral part of the great transformation of society,” comments Oleksandra Mostepan, CEO and surgeon of U+ System.
The event, supported by the football club Dynamo, the company Pozhmashina, and MHP, once again emphasizes important social goals: helping military personnel and unarmed heroes return to an active life, supporting an inclusive culture, and developing social responsibility. This is a crucial step towards the growth of rehabilitation medicine in Ukraine and increasing attention to people who are adapting after injuries.
