The head coach of Luhansk "Zora" Mladen Bartulovich spoke about what final position in the standings of the current championship of Ukraine he will be satisfied with.
Mladen Bartulovich. Photo — Yu. Yuriev— Right now you are in eighth place in the standings. What place should it be for you to remain satisfied at the end of the championship?
— A place in the European cups zone. We need to work; the competition in the championship is high. It is difficult to predict a specific place. I would like us to realize all our ideas on the field.
— The upcoming rounds will be difficult for everyone: winter unexpectedly returned to Ukraine, and this means that unforeseen circumstances with pitches, weather, lighting, and other components are inevitable. Do you usually worry a lot about this?
— I remember that everyone is in the same conditions. Everyone is working in the cold, on artificial fields. We have already gotten used to this in Ukrainian football. It’s not worth focusing on this; we need to prepare for the upcoming matches. In general, we finished the championship on not very good fields. But it’s okay, we won anyway.
— You still have a trump card up your sleeve: the postponed match against "Ingulec." How crucial is this game for you, considering that you started your career as a head coach exactly at "Ingulec"?
— It's not that it's crucial, it's just that this match turned out the way it did, with a prolonged delay. The game was difficult... We played the first half, now it's unknown where we will play the second. It will be interesting to see how this unfolds in practice.
