«Inter» announced on its official website about the injury of the team’s main goalkeeper Yann Sommer.
Yann Sommer«This morning, Yann Sommer underwent a medical examination which revealed a fracture of the right thumb. The necessary therapy will be decided in the coming days,» the club’s statement said.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the Swiss national team goalkeeper is likely to be sidelined for at least three weeks. He will be replaced during the recovery period by Jose Martinez, who joined «Inter» from «Genoa» in the summer.
