The head coach of Kryvyi Rih’s «Kryvbas» Yuriy Vernidub commented on the crushing defeat of his team against Rivne’s «Veres» (0:3) in today’s match of the 18th round of the Ukrainian championship.

By the desire and level of determination they showed when they took the field — it was evident that they would fight for the win. We came out to play a different kind of football — academic. Such football will not work in the spring part of the season. This is my mistake. So, I ask not to blame the players.
All three conceded goals were childish mistakes. Especially the first one. There’s nothing even to comment on here.
Did the factor of moving the game from Kryvyi Rih to Rivne influence the result? We must be ready for this. In the first wartime championship, we couldn’t play in Kryvyi Rih at all. We played in Lviv, Kyiv, Uzhhorod. Therefore, this is not the main thing. If we want to achieve certain goals — we must fight for it.
We had a chance today, but we did not take it. Today we were slapped in one place. We need to analyze this match and strive not to repeat such mistakes,” — said Vernidub.
