Player of the Slovak club DAK 1904 Taras Kacharab told Peter Shlionts how he lives and plays abroad.
Taras Kacharab (photo: dac1904.sk)— I would like to play for the national team, but for that, I must play at the highest level. It would be good if DAK were in the top-3 teams of the league, unfortunately, this is not the case right now. We must do everything possible to achieve this, but we are going through a period of change. The coach has changed, the squad is changing. However, we are slowly starting to reach a high level, and I believe that we will quickly return to a high position.
I still have a contract with DAK, and right now I am only thinking about fulfilling it. A year ago, there were offers from Rukh (Chorzów) and Zagłębie, but both clubs were low on the table and were at risk of dropping to the lower league. There was a specific offer from Korea for very good money. At the last moment, a club from Turkey made an offer, but there were only three days left to make a decision, there was no time. The information about the offer from Dynamo was true. I thought about returning to Ukraine, I haven’t seen my parents for three years. However, DAK was not satisfied with the terms, and the clubs did not reach an agreement, — said Taras.
