The former player of “Real” and “Arsenal” Mesut Ozil has been included in the list of candidates for the executive committee of Turkey’s ruling party at number 43.

Previously, Ozil has faced criticism for his close ties to the Justice and Development Party and personally to Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
