The Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine responded to a request from Sport-express regarding the current situation with the positive doping test of Mykhailo Mudryk:

The UAF, within its powers, formed a composition of the sports delegation for participation in the UEFA Nations League competitions. In addition to athletes and coaching staff, doctors, massage therapists, and technical personnel were included, who performed their duties based on employment relationships with the UAF.
In turn, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, within its powers, approved the composition of the delegation by its order based on the relevant request from the UAF and formally contacted the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine regarding its departure abroad to participate in the competitions.
The Ministry does not have the right to interfere in the activities of anti-doping institutions since this contradicts anti-doping legislation.”
