The defender of «Zoria», Roman Vantukh, mentioned what prevented his team from maintaining a winning score in the Ukrainian championship match against «Oleksandriia».

— This was my second goal scored for «Zoria». I first scored in the match against «Lviv», which I am a product of, and yesterday I made the goalkeeper of «Oleksandriia» capitulate, for whom I played in the past. As you can see, I spoil the mood only for my own teams.
— But even your accurate shot was not enough for «Zoria» to win at least one point. Why did that happen?
— First of all, we are to blame, because we had no right to concede just before the break. I am convinced that if the second half had started with the score 1:0 in our favor, it would have been a completely different game. Moreover, we lacked concentration immediately after the break, when the hosts scored the second time. And the most disappointing thing is that we were performing well in Oleksandriia. Still, in my opinion, «Zoria» deserved a better fate.
— After the final whistle, the head coach of «Zoria», Mladen Bartulovic, was dissatisfied with the refereeing, in particular, with the penalty not awarded to the «city» team when there was a foul on Vladyslav Vakula.
— From my point of view, the foul in the penalty area on Pylyp Budkivskyi was even more obvious, but the referee’s whistle was silent again. It’s also not surprising that VAR was in operation in Oleksandriia, but the referee did not take the opportunity to review at least one of the controversial moments. And this is not the first time this happens in matches involving Luhansk teams. However, no matter what happened there, we should primarily blame ourselves. Ahead is work on our mistakes, and I really want the next match against «Rukh» to go without disappointing failures.
