The newcomer of Zhytomyr’s “Polissya”, Uruguayan striker Facundo Batista, who scored a goal in his very first match for his new team (against “Inhulets”, 1:0, in the 18th round of the Ukrainian championship), shared his impressions of the level of Ukrainian football.

The level of Ukrainian football is very good, very strong. At first, the UPL didn’t seem that strong. But after playing, I have different impressions. You need to be very concentrated and calm; little by little, I am adapting.
As for very low temperatures, I am playing for the first time. But training at the base helped me gradually adapt to the climate. I think that with each match I will feel better,” said Batista.
