The match of the 19th round of the Ukrainian championship between Poltava’s "Vorskla" and Kyiv’s "Dynamo", which was supposed to be an away game for our team according to the schedule, will take place in Kyiv.
As reported by the Poltava club, the pitch of the "Vorskla" stadium named after Alexey Butovsky is ready for the match, but due to unstable power supply and low nighttime temperatures throughout the week, the condition of the pitch at the start of the match may not meet the stadium infrastructure regulations and safety measures for conducting football competitions.
In this regard, the management of "Vorskla" reached out to their colleagues from "Alexandria" to hold the game at KSK "Nika", which was declared by the Poltava team as a reserve stadium, but received a refusal.
As a result, the Poltava club contacted "Dynamo" with a request to hold the game at the Valery Lobanovsky Stadium, and our club agreed to accommodate their future opponent. At the same time, measures for organization and safety, by preliminary agreement, will be taken on by "Dynamo".
The date and time of the match remain unchanged - thus, the game will take place on Friday, February 28, at the Valery Lobanovsky Stadium of "Dynamo", starting at 15:30.
