Today’s date has given the world several well-known people who have closely connected their lives with football:
Serhiy KonovalovSerhiy Konovalov (1972) — former Ukrainian midfielder. Known for playing for Dnipro and Kyiv Dynamo. From 1996 to 1998, Serhiy represented the Korean club Pohang Steelers, with which he twice became the holder of the Asian Champions Cup.
After that, Konovalov returned to Ukraine, where he continued to play for Kyiv Dynamo. He ended his playing career in 2006. The last club of Serhiy Konovalov was Baku’s Inter. He played 22 matches for the Ukrainian national team and scored 3 goals.
Vitaliy Samoilov (1975) — former Ukrainian midfielder. Known for playing for Kyiv Dynamo and Poltava Vorskla.
Alberto Zaccheroni (1953) — Italian football coach. One of the few coaches who has worked in all three leading Italian clubs — Juventus, Milan, and Inter.
