— Which match during the offseason left the biggest impression on you?
— Against Galatasaray in the UEFA Europa League. It added confidence, raised the team's spirit. Thanks to our young talented number 7 for the double. (Laughs together with Yarmolenko).
After that, we were gearing up for a difficult match against RFS. In it, we already had confidence, and thanks to that, we won.
— How important is it in football to make quick decisions? How do you train this component?
It can be developed in training. There are specially selected exercises where you need to make quick decisions in a small space. Then, when you do it on the football field in matches, it seems like you have more time.
— How important is it for you to become a champion with Dynamo?
— In a Dynamo jersey, you should always strive to be first in any tournament. I came here not just to play, but to win and become a champion. I hope to realize myself 100% and help the team earn the third star on the emblem.
— You had offers from both Shakhtar and Dynamo. You chose Dynamo. How would you have acted if there had been an offer from a mid-table team in a top league?
— At that time, there were offers from Europe. But I made the decision to play for Dynamo and be of use to it.
— But would you like to test yourself in a top league?
— Everyone wants to play in a top league. But it’s important that the club suits you, not just going anywhere.
