Ukrainian midfielder of London Chelsea Mykhailo Mudryk spoke on the doping scandal he found himself in, as well as about the losses of relatives in the war.

“Since the invasion of Ukraine, I have lost five family members who were at the front. Now my only (football, — ed. note) source of happiness has been taken away. What is left for me?
It is very hard for me to be in such a situation. I have already said that I am innocent, and I still hold my opinion. I urge everyone to remain calm; the truth will definitely come out someday, and thank you all for your words of support,” — Mudryk's words are quoted in the Twitter account of British businessman Frank Khalid.
As a reminder, in December it became known that Mudryk's "A" sample from the doping test he took in November returned a positive result. Since then, his "B" sample has been analyzed. If it also turns out to be positive, Mudryk will be disqualified for a period of two to four years.
