Today marks the 67th anniversary of the legendary Dynamo footballer and now the club’s scout Volodymyr Bessonov. The birthday celebrant was congratulated by the president of FC Dynamo (Kyiv) Ihor Surkis.
Volodymyr Bessonov
Dear Volodymyr Vasylovych!
Please allow me, on my own behalf and on behalf of the entire Dynamo family, to congratulate you on your birthday.
You dedicated almost your entire playing career to one club—Dynamo. With your dedication on the field, versatility, and drive for victory, you earned the love of the demanding Kyiv fans, and your name is inscribed in golden letters in the history of the glorious club. For the sake of Dynamo, you gave your all on the field, often at the cost of your own health, leading your teammates behind you to victories and trophies.
It is not easy to list all the titles you have won during your football career. It is simpler to say that all the achievements of not just Dynamo, but all domestic football for over ten years—from the late 70s to the late 80s—were achieved with your participation.
I wish you, dear Volodymyr Vasylovych, strong Cossack health, inexhaustible energy in your activities, family happiness, and well-being. And also the fulfillment of a common desire for all Ukrainians—Victory over our common enemy in the war and life under a peaceful sky!
Respectfully,
president of FC Dynamo (Kyiv) Ihor Surkis
