Klopp blocked ten Hag's candidacy for the head coach position of RB Leipzig

A series of unsuccessful results for RB Leipzig has made the club's management consider alternatives for head coach Marco Rose.

According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, Red Bull's director of football development Jürgen Klopp is involved in the process of determining candidates for the new coach of the team. Among the options was former Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag, but Klopp rejected his profile.

Instead, the shortlist included Sebastian Hoeneß (Stuttgart), Oliver Glasner (Crystal Palace), and Roger Schmidt (former Benfica coach).
