The football club "Dynamo" (Kyiv) has signed a contract with 29-year-old defender Valerii Luchkevych.

Luchkevych was born on January 11, 1996, in Zaporizhzhia. He is a product of the Zaporizhzhia "Metallurh" academy. At the adult level, he started playing for "Dnipro," making his debut in the UPL on August 10, 2014. After "Dnipro," he played for the Belgian "Standard" (Liège) (2017−2019). In 2019, he returned to Ukraine, where he played for "Alexandriya" (2019−2021), "Dnipro-1" (2021−2023), and "Koloss" (since 2023).
He has experience playing for Ukraine's youth and U21 national teams. In 2014, Luchkevych was awarded the "Golden Talent of Ukraine" prize. He is the holder of the Belgian Cup for the 2017/18 season with "Standard" and was a finalist in the Europa League in the 2014/2015 season with "Dnipro."
In the Ukrainian Premier League, Luchkevych has played 148 matches, scoring 12 goals, with 22 matches and 2 goals in the Ukrainian Cup.
Luchkevych is a versatile player but most often plays as a right-back or midfielder.
