The head coach of Donetsk "Shakhtar" Marino Pusic commented on the draw (1:1) in yesterday’s match of his team against Kryvyi Rih "Kryvbas" in the 20th round of the Ukrainian championship.

But we have what we have. Even under such conditions we performed wonderfully: we created many situations to score, plenty of moments, and, in my opinion, we deserved to win. But sometimes this happens if you do not convert your chances.
The opponent had one moment that came out of nowhere. I believe we completely controlled the game, being the only team trying to play and win. Unfortunately, football is sometimes an unfair game, and we saw that this evening. We need to act much better in the final part of the attack, to convert our chances much more and earlier and to make a difference. But still, I cannot complain about my team, except for the last moment, because, in my opinion, we overall played a great game.
As I said, we very often got into good positions for finishing and overall, I believe, dominated the game. We built our attacks very well. But when you get into the final third, you need the best decisions on this field. The ball needs to move well, not bounce, and that’s not so easy. Then, the defending team always has the advantage because the field works in their favor, not ours.
But I don’t want you to think this is an excuse, because despite all these episodes we attacked a lot, could create better chances and score more goals. This is definitely what we lacked today. All other details of the game: how we acted, how we defended, how we pressed, were at a very high level. I feel sorry for my team because the guys did everything possible, spent a lot of energy, worked very hard, maintained discipline," said Pusic.
