Kryvbas defender Andriy Ponedilnik commented on the draw result (1:1) in yesterday’s match of his team against Donetsk’s Shakhtar in the 20th round of the Ukrainian championship.
Andriy Ponedilnik«I think, to a larger extent, the result is logical. However, having a few hundred percent chances, we could have pushed the opponent. Overall, our team is satisfied that we interrupted an unpleasant streak (two consecutive losses, — editor's note). We will move forward and win.
What allowed us to withstand the opponent's pressure? Due to desire and willpower. We did not give up, attacked and had our moments, we were not just sitting in defense, but also made counterattacks. In defense, we largely coped. We also had good moments in attack, but, unfortunately, we did not score anymore,” — said Ponedilnik.
