Armenian businessman Arthur Grantz has agreed to buy "Chornomorets", reports "TaToTake".

According to the project host Mykhailo Spivakovsky, it involves a "conceptual agreement" with the current club owners Oleksandr Granovsky and Borys Kaufman. Official documents have not yet been signed.

Grantz is the majority owner of LLC “UYAvi!”, which owns 90% and publishes Forbes magazine in Ukraine. His company BF Capital also owns real estate and a network of duty-free shops in airports in Ukraine, Georgia, and Armenia.

Currently, complications regarding the sale lie in the fact that the new owner will also inherit the club's debts to players and certain organizations, possible transfer bans and the lack of club infrastructure, as there is no ownership under the "Chornomorets" trademark.

In particular, the base in Sovin'yon is rented out, and its repair after the shelling is estimated at over 10 million hryvnias. There are also questions about whether the new owner wants to acquire the club now or after the end of the season.

In addition, for the final sale, it will be necessary to change the majority owner of the club, Leonid Klimov.
