Famous Ukrainian coach, and now expert Oleg Fedorchuk commented on recent events in Ukrainian football.

— If after the loss of points by "Dynamo" in the match of the 20th round of the Ukrainian championship against "Vorskla" (1:1) I assessed the chances of Kyivans for the championship as 60 to 40, then after the draw of the main competitor — "Shakhtar" last week with "Kryvbas" (1:1), the charges of Oleksandr Shovkovskyi regained a comfortable lead: 65 to 35.
— By the way, the mentor of "miners" Marino Pushych also noted in his commentary that now the championship title is in the hands of the Dynamo players.
— Indeed, now the Kyivans can only create problems for themselves in the fight for "gold". Although, in my opinion, the giants of Ukrainian football do not demonstrate championship play.
— How do you explain this?
— Both teams have few creative players, and for some reason, the "stars" lack the strength to perform at a high level for two halves. These fluctuations negatively affect the performance of our renowned clubs.
— Another extraordinary event is the resignation of the coaching staff of "Koloss" led by Oleksandr Pozdeev. And this happened at the very start of the second part of the UPL championship.
— The failure of the Kovaliv team is an unpleasant surprise. After all, the club's management has done everything in recent years to ensure that the team is provided with everything necessary. However, after the resumption of the championship, it was noticeable that "Koloss" somehow lost its team speed and creativity in finishing attacks.
I believe that FC President Andriy Zasukha made the right decision, not only dismissing Oleksandr Pozdeev and his assistants but also returning Ruslan Kostyshyn to the helm, under whose leadership "Koloss" achieved significant success in its time.
First of all, Kostyshyn's arrival is important from a strategic point of view. He is aware of the situation in the club and will be able to focus immediately on correcting the tournament situation of "Koloss", which is complicated.
— If the Dynamo players have once again taken the initiative in the fight for "gold", the "bottom" of the tournament table has remained unchanged. Who will not be lucky enough to escape relegation?
— I still believe that "Inhulets" has the worst chances, although I won’t hide it, I like the play of the team from Petrove. Vasyl Kobin's charges have fought against "Polesie", "Rukh", and defeated "Kryvbas". It is important that they come out for each game as motivated as possible and still believe that they can save themselves. But Petrovites lost too much last autumn. Moreover, due to problems with the home stadium, they are forced to play away constantly, which affects the training process and recovery.
Another loser, who will be directly relegated, will be determined in the competition between "Obolon" and "Chornomorets".
