— Yes, we came out, we set ourselves up. Today, we indeed had a few players, but we agreed before the match that we would, as they say, play for ourselves and for that guy. In my opinion, we succeeded.
I think it was a very open game for the fans today, there were many chances. Yes, we had fewer in the second half — this is because we had no substitutions, we essentially finished the match with our starting lineup.
— "Zarya" used a lot of set pieces, looking for chances to score specifically in these situations. Was there such an instruction for the game?
— Yes, we perform well on set pieces; we practiced them, and here’s the result: one of them led to a goal. So that’s good.
— In the second half, were you playing to hold the score?
— We understood that Dynamo would be pressing because they are the leaders of our championship, fighting for the title, which is why the Kyiv team pressed. But we held on. I congratulate our entire team on this draw.
— For you, is this draw like a victory?
— You could say so, but still, three points are awarded for victory, and today we only received one. But I believe we deserved this result.
