Famous manager and expert Vyacheslav Zakhovailo shared his thoughts on the recent matches of Kyiv's "Dynamo".
Vyacheslav Zakhovailo"I thought long about whether to write this or not. I will say right away that I do not want to offend anyone. But the truth is more important. I will have to wake up the audience. Today I watched again the three rounds involving “Dynamo” in the spring part of the championship.
In the game against Poltava — it was an unfortunate accident. In Cherkassy — they just bounced back. Against “Zoria” — they flunked the match. As a result — minus 4 points. And this is all in the championship race, where the price of each tournament point is worth its weight in gold. Purely lucky that “Shakhtar” also stumbled. The question is: how long will luck blow in our sails? Maybe it's time to understand the reasons for what is happening?
Today in an interview Alexander Shovkovsky hinted at some unclear dynamics within the team. That is, regarding the players' attitude towards the training process and game discipline during matches. I will express not my subjective opinion, but an objective fact. This is the absence of competition for a place in the starting lineup.
I know and understand the psychology of the players well, how they think. They see and understand that they are not threatened, the club is not acquiring new players, the youth are not ready, — which means that they can just “lie in a warm bath”, philosophize about salaries, discuss the head coach and the president of the club, completely understanding that they are irreplaceable. And this situation satisfies all team players. Hence arises: didn’t run enough, didn’t work hard enough (well, who cares))). I won’t say this about everyone, but some characters have lost their motivation to play for “Dynamo” (Kyiv). For football people, this situation is clear as day.
It’s time for the club president Igor Mikhalych to address this issue. And most importantly. Raising a good replacement under the conditions of the U-19 Championship of Ukraine is utopia and populism.
Wishing everyone well. Sorry for the blunt truth,” — wrote Zakhovailo on his Facebook page.
