Ukrainian forward of the Italian team Roma, Artem Dovbik played another match for his team, but is unlikely to be able to count it in his favor.
Artem DovbikThe 27-year-old footballer was included in the starting lineup of the Romans for yesterday’s return match against the Spanish Athletic (1:3) in the Round of 16 of the Europa League, but he did not manage to make his presence felt on the field. Dovbik recorded not only no goals or assists but even failed to make a single shot on the opponent's goal. Moreover, the Ukrainian touched the ball only once in the Athletic's penalty area.
As a result, Dovbik was substituted in the 53rd minute of the match (for Matias Sule). And Roma was eliminated from the Europa League on aggregate (2:1, 1:3).
It should be added that this season, Dovbik has played 37 matches for Roma in all competitions, in which he scored 14 goals and provided 3 assists.
