Former Liverpool defender and football expert Jamie Carragher criticized the Merseysiders after their 1-2 defeat to Newcastle in the EFL Cup final.
Carragher- "Newcastle didn’t just beat Liverpool, they crushed them. The score should have been 3-0 or 4-0. Liverpool looked weak against PSG, and Newcastle is just a good team from the EPL, but Howe’s side literally wiped the floor with them. The team is exhausted, but fortunately has a sufficient points cushion in the league," quotes Carragher's words Sky Sports.
