The head coach of "Metalist 1925," Patrick van Leeuwen, who previously worked with the Dynamo midfielder Volodymyr Brazhko at "Zorya," expressed his opinion about the midfielder of the "white-blues."

"After the youth championship, we see a physically fit player. Brazhko understands football; he played in the UEFA Youth League. In some ways, his fate is similar to Nazariy Rusyn’s. At "Zorya," at first, he couldn't play because Yegor Nazarina was in his position. Eventually, he became a starting player; he had big ambitions. He worked hard both in training and in the gym, as well as on the football field. Brazhko seized his chance, and the further he played, the stronger he became.
Is Brazhko ready to move to a top league? He is the player who always needs new challenges. For him, this will be a great opportunity—to compare himself at such a high level. I believe that Ukrainian footballers should follow the example of Zabarnyi. He came to "Bournemouth" as an unknown player but quickly made a name for himself in England. Ilya reminds me of the famous Dutch defender Jaap Stam. Zabarnyi has everything to repeat his path.
Brazhko is a fighter; he returned from "Zorya" to "Dynamo" and became a national team player. He must continue to fight and become a leader. He is at the perfect age for the next step," van Leeuwen said in the broadcast of the "Profootball Digital" program.
