MEGOGO’s Content Director Maria Panchenko shared where to watch the playoff matches of the Nations League between Ukraine and Belgium, whether the national team’s matches will be broadcast on terrestrial television, and who will commentate on these games.

— Please tell us where we can now watch the matches of the national team of Ukraine?
— We are pleased to announce that starting from March, the matches of the Ukraine national team will be broadcast on the OTT media service MEGOGO and the terrestrial channel “MEGOGO SPORT”. There will be no matches on the local Public Broadcasting channels. Viewers can rest assured that access to the national team’s games will remain unchanged. They will still be able to watch matches online on our platform, or on a free channel that broadcasts in T2 and cable networks.
— What motivates you for such changes?
— I will start by expressing our sincere gratitude to Public Broadcasting for many years of cooperation and joint efforts in popularizing the matches of the Ukraine national team.
Every partnership, even with such a comfortable partner as Public Broadcasting, is a huge set of agreements, approvals, and controls. With the launch of our terrestrial channel “MEGOGO Sport”, it was a logical step to combine all broadcasts of the national team under a single brand — both on the platform and on air. This allows viewers to more easily navigate where to watch, and for us — to plan broadcasts more effectively, build communication and fulfill obligations to the rights holders.
— Explain for people who have not yet registered on the OTT platform what they need to do to prepare in time for watching the national team’s matches? What is the registration procedure? Where is the free channel “MEGOGO SPORT” broadcast?
— We advise new users of the OTT platform to register in advance. This will help avoid potential difficulties on the day of the broadcast, which could affect viewing experiences. Registration on MEGOGO takes just a few minutes: it is enough to provide a phone number, email, or use a Google, Facebook, or Apple account. Then you need to choose and create a subscription — the Ukraine national team matches are available, in particular, in the “Optimal” subscription.
As for the free channel “MEGOGO SPORT”, it is available in all regions of Ukraine in the digital terrestrial network T2, as well as in cable networks. T2 users whose channel has not appeared automatically need to scan the channels on their receiver.
— Will the pre-match and post-match studios be broadcast on the free channel “MEGOGO SPORT”?
— Yes, viewers of the channel will be able to watch the full analytical studio live, which is also available to subscribers of the media service. In addition, “MEGOGO SPORT” will also broadcast other selected Nations League matches involving other national teams.
— For those who still have not registered, as well as for Ukrainians abroad, will there be highlights available on open internet platforms?
— Highlights will be available on our YouTube channel “MEGOGO Sport”, but they will only be accessible to users from Ukraine. This is due to the broadcasting rights for the matches and highlights that we received only for Ukraine. For fans abroad, we recommend following the official broadcasters of the Nations League in the countries where they are located, and international sports media that may have rights to show match reviews in your countries.
— What about Ukrainian football, what other live broadcasts can MEGOGO offer to fans?
— MEGOGO continues to expand its sports offering for fans. Recently, we added the UPL TV channel to our football offering, which broadcasts matches of the Ukrainian Premier League. MEGOGO is also the exclusive broadcaster of UEFA’s European cup tournaments and European top leagues where Ukrainian legionnaires compete — La Liga, Serie A, and the Portuguese championship.
Our users note that we have a very wide range of football broadcasts, and every fan will find interesting content for themselves — for example, Artem Dovbyk's match for Roma, or Andriy Lunin's match for Real. In addition, selected matches of European cups and leagues can also be watched on the free channel “MEGOGO SPORT.”
— What innovations are you considering for the next season?
— We are currently in active negotiations regarding new broadcasts, and while the deals are not signed, we cannot disclose details. However, we can already announce that during the off-season, MEGOGO will exclusively broadcast the women’s Euro-2025. In addition, we have another interesting tournament planned, which we can officially announce in the near future.
— Is there a plan for special projects dedicated to the UPL as well?
— UPL TV is already actively creating its own news and analytical programs that are also available to viewers on our platform. We believe that these are meaningful products that adequately cover the topic of Ukrainian football, including the performances of our legionnaires in foreign championships.
— Is it already determined who will comment on the matches against Belgium? Are there any surprises here?
— We always prioritize commentators who serve in the ranks of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. This is our principled position. If we manage to agree everything with the military leadership, one of the commentators for both matches in March will be Vadim Skichko. For the Ukraine — Belgium match on Thursday, March 20, Vadim Shevyakin will work with him in the pair, and in the return match on Sunday, March 23 — Volodymyr Zverov.
— Will the list of experts change?
— Most likely, in March, viewers will not see new guests in the large analytical studios. We will maintain a stable team of experts who are already well-known to our viewers. In particular, former Ukraine national team players Oleksandr Holovko and Artem Kravets will work on both matches of the Ukraine national team in March.
