The national teams of Canada, Ukraine, Côte d'Ivoire, and New Zealand will take part in a friendly tournament that will be held in Canada. This is reported by the press service of the Canadian Football Association.

It is reported that in June of this year, four national teams will meet in a friendly tournament called the “Canadian Shield” — a new international competition involving four countries.
The new tournament, which will take place on June 7 and 10 (during the FIFA summer window — ed.), in Toronto, will also feature the Ukrainian team led by Serhii Rebrov.
“I am sincerely grateful for the invitation from the Canadian Football Association. I am confident that the upcoming matches will be an important sporting and social event for both our nations. The Ukrainian community in Canada has always supported our national team worldwide, and now it's our turn to visit them. Canada is a strong partner of Ukraine, and we are glad to accept this invitation. In addition to the matches, we also plan social and charitable initiatives,” said UAF President Andriy Shevchenko.
