Tottenham defender Cristian Romero could join Atletico

Madrid’s Atletico is interested in the services of Tottenham central defender Cristian Romero.

According to Relevo, the head coach of the mattress makers, Diego Simeone, wants to see the 26-year-old player in his team. Atletico plans to strengthen the defense line during the summer transfer window. The Argentinian is also considering this option for continuing his career.

It is worth noting that Romero's current contract with the Spurs is set until the summer of 2027.
