The publication echia.gda.pl analyzed the situation regarding potential personnel losses at "Lechia" from Gdańsk after the current season ends.
Anton TsarenkoAmong other things, the focus has also been on midfielder Anton Tsarenko, who is loaned to "Lechia" until the end of the current season from Kyiv's "Dynamo." The chances of the 20-year-old player staying at "Lechia" for the next season are estimated at 20%.
"Tsarenko, coming from Kyiv's 'Dynamo,' immediately burst into the starting lineup of 'Lechia.' A taciturn person with the appearance of a teenager. But on the field, he speaks through his actions. And he works there like two people, which continues to astonish us. It's surprising that in recent weeks he has started coming on as a substitute. And when he is on the field, he gives the team good impulses. Does this mean that he has no chances of staying?
'Lechia' does not have the option to buy Tsarenko's transfer. We can only hope for mythical good contacts between the management of 'Lechia' and 'Dynamo'; otherwise, the diminutive midfielder will return to his home club, where he may get a chance. It is also worth noting that Tsarenko's contract with 'Dynamo' expires in 2026. So, the summer of 2025 will be the last opportunity for 'Dynamo' to sell this player for good money," the source described the situation with the Dynamo player.
Recall that Tsarenko joined 'Lechia' at the beginning of the current season. Since then, he has played 22 matches for this team in all tournaments, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
