The recovery timeline for Donetsk "Shakhtar" defender Yefim Konoplyaka after the ankle injury he sustained on March 20 in the first match of the Ukrainian national team against Belgium in the Nations League playoffs has been revealed.

According to preliminary forecasts, the 25-year-old footballer will miss 2-3 weeks, reported former journalist Igor Burbas on his Telegram channel.
This means that Konoplya will at least miss three upcoming matches of Shakhtar — against "Obolon" (March 29) and "Veres" (April 6) in the Ukrainian championship, as well as against "Alexandria" (April 2) in the 1/4 finals of the Ukrainian Cup.
It is quite possible that the defender will not play on April 11 against LNZ in the 24th round of the UPL, but before the match with Kyiv "Dynamo" (26th round, basic match day — April 26), Konoplyaka should definitely be fit.
