The general director of LNZ Andriy Kolysnyk talked about his strategy for working at the club.
Andriy Kolysnyk— The first and foremost thing is money. I have developed a plan that we will follow over the next five seasons. That is, what are the investments from the owner, how much we are earning, what our weaknesses are, what we need to improve so that the owner's investments gradually become smaller, and earnings become larger, and we, in this case, potentially aimed to reach zero. This is a key task. That is, I am working to ensure that the club ultimately achieves self-sufficiency.
Player sales are currently a special topic because it is the only possible large source of income right now for any Ukrainian club, except for European competitions. It is solely player sales.
Players do not cost more than 400-500 thousand euros — that is the ceiling. Why is that the ceiling? Because we are not a European competition team, and therefore a player from our team who "shines" here can mostly be sold for 1.5-2 million on average. That’s it. Even if he scores 15 goals here in a season, 17, or 20. If it's 20, then maybe a little more.
Why is this so? Because the level of the Ukrainian championship in Europe is not highly rated. That is, a player who has proven himself here does not mean that other clubs will immediately take him for big money because he needs to be tested at a different level of opposition.
So if we buy a player for 2-3 million, we could close the club. Because he will not be sold from Ukraine if we are not a European competition team for more. Savings must increase, — Andriy said on the YouTube channel "Trendeц".
