Midfielder of "Slovan" from Liberec, Ivan Varfolomeev commented on the recent friendly matches of the Ukrainian U-21 national team, in which the "blue and yellow" lost to Slovenia U-21 (1:1, 5:6 — penalty shootout) and Poland U-21 (2:3).
Ivan Varfolomeev— I said that this period for our national team has not been successful at all. Unfortunately, we lost both friendly matches. I cannot allow myself to lose, and I regret it very much. But this is football, it happens.
I am the youngest player, but I will still play a lot over the next two years. Of course, I will have to work hard to get an invitation. It is a great honor for me to defend the yellow-blue colors. This has always been my dream," said Varfolomeev to the press service of "Slovan".
